Performs the functions required to operate and maintain natural gasstorage, pipeline and compression facilities, providing periodic reportsand analyses of facilities performance..Promotes safety as a value and assures all employees receive necessarytraining and materials to conduct safe operations.Maintaining and operating plant for 7x24 readiness to serve customers.Ensures coordination of plant operations at the direction of the VicePresident with interrelated areas such as Gas Control, Gas Supply andMarketing.Manages plant personnel to include facility Operators and Technicians.. Responsible for budgets for field operations and maintenance to includeexecution and adherence with associated company policies.Ensures adherence to operations, maintenance, safety and environmentalprocedures by maintenance and operations staff, gas control and contract. Organizes and conducts periodic plant inspections and takes correctiveactions as needed.. Monitors and inspects work of outside contractors..Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to includesafety, environmental, operational and maintenance rulesProvide Leadership and development to the facility employees to ensureretention and succession planning.Evaluate employees performance, provide mentoring and ensure retetion of personnel.Ensure company is a good community steward, to include managementof relationships with the fire department, local police, regulators, landowners, customers and interconnecting energy infrastructure companies..
